Gloucester Deep Sea
Fishing Charters

Giant Bluefin, School Bluefin tuna, and Deep Sea Fishing offer an exhilarating and unforgettable experience for both seasoned anglers and newcomers to the sport. Gloucester, known as America’s oldest Seaport, provides access to some of the most fertile fishing grounds in the Atlantic Ocean, making this a prime charter destination.

Bluefin Tuna Charters

Groundfish Charters

Our classic New England Deep Sea Fishing. Fill your cooler with Haddock, Pollock, Redfish, Whiting, and sometimes Porbeagle sharks! We often catch some very big cod on these trips as well. Great family outing, while putting some wild caught food on the table!

Marathon Ground Fishing Charter

Targeting remote, highly productive waters 60 miles offshore at the legendary Phippines Ledge in the Gulf of Maine. This extended day trip is perfect for seasoned anglers who want more time on the fish and access to deeper, less-pressured grounds.

Seasonality

Groundfish Season April 15 – June 15

  • Target Species – During this period, anglers can expect to catch a variety of fish such as haddock, pollock, cusk, redfish, and sometimes porbeagle sharks.

  • Optimal Conditions – The spring is prime time for groundfishing, as these fish begin to become more active during the spring months.

  • Quieter Waters – This season is not as busy as the summer months, offering a more serene and focused fishing experience.

Tuna Season June 15 – Nov 15

  • Target Species: Giant Bluefin Tuna / School Bluefin Tuna

    • The Giant Bluefin Tuna is known for their size, power, and great eyesight, providing an exhilarating challenge for anglers.

    • School Bluefin Tuna can be harvested on commercially closed days for your group to bring home.

  • Peak Activity – Tuna spend a majority of their summer and fall months in our waters, making it the best time to target these fish close to home.

  • Proximity to Gloucester – These fish can get close to land during our season. Expect to travel as little as 5 miles or as many as 30 miles if needed. We go to where the fish are, not to where we want them to be.
